He gained widespread fame in the 1970s and 1980s as a rock and roll icon, often referred to as "The Boss." Some of his most famous and critically acclaimed albums include "Born to Run" (1975), "Darkness on the Edge of Town" (1978), "The River" (1980), "Born in the U.S.A." (1984), and "Nebraska" (1982).
